Mary Ruth (Kohuth) Patterson

Mary Patterson, 67, of Ashland Ohio, went home to be with Jesus in God’s Kingdom on December 11, 2025. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.

Mary was born on December 15, 1957 to Thomas and Mildred (Lawson) Kohuth during a severe snowstorm. Maybe that’s why she did like hot weather and preferred the cold. (Sh was born in the winter).

Mary attended school grades 1-12, in her hometown of Brunswick, Ohio. She graduated from the 12th grade at Brunswick High School in the “patriotic” year of 1976. After high school, she thought she would venture out to see what the world had to offer. She ended up living in South Florida for 13 years but she found herself migrating back to her hometown roots in Brunswick, Ohio. Then her husband’s job caused them to move to Ashland, Ohio and she has been there for 25 years.

Mary joins her mother and father, Millie and Tom Kohuth and one of her older sisters, Karen, in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Herb, her 2 sons, Richard and Daniel, an older sister Judy Miller (Wayne), an older brother Tom (Joan) Kohuth and a younger brother, Ron (Mary) Kohuth.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM, at Roberts Funeral Home, 1058 US 250 N, Ashland, OH 44805.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
