Jane Wilkes

Mary Jane Wilkes, 86, of Mount Vernon OH, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Ohio Eastern Star home, in Mount Vernon.

Jane was born April 24, 1937 in Los Angeles to Joseph and Rosemary (Hudleson) Goldsberry.

She married Donald Wilkes in 1957. He passed in 2003.

Jane had been a secretary for the Parks & Recreation Department in Redwood City, CA for over 20 years. She had been a member of Mulberry Church in Mt Vernon for nearly two decades. She enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales and traveling. She also loved her tea and scones.

Jane will be deeply missed by her son, Dave (Lori) Wilkes, and daughter, Wendy (Ron) Robertson, along with grandsons Tyler (Chloe) Robertson, Mason Wilkes, and Haddon Wilkes.

Jane was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Taylor of San Francisco, CA.

The Memorial service will be Thursday, June 29 from 11:00 AM at Roberts Funeral Home--Mount Vernon Chapel. Pastor Jerry Ernst will be officiating.
