Nancy L. Cronebach

September 2, 1941 — December 11, 2022

Ashland

Nancy L. Cronebach, 81, of Ashland went to Heaven on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at The Good Shepherd of Ashland after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Nancy was born on September 2, 1941 to Lester and Irene (Curry) Lawrence, in Seneca County Ohio. Nancy’s family moved to Ashland County when she was in 7th grade, where she graduated from the Savannah school. Nancy retired from Huntington Bank after 35 years. Before and after her retirement Nancy loved to do country western dancing on the weekends where she made many friends and traveled to many cities and states. Nancy also loved gardening and received many compliments on how beautiful her gardens were.

Nancy is survived by her son Brad (Angela) of Loudonville and daughter DaLee Karr of Ashland. Three grandsons, Jedidiah (Mary) Cronebach of Loudonville, Trevor (Katy Murfield) Karr of Galion, and Colton (Kelsi) Cronebach of Chillicothe; two great grandsons, Klinton Cronebach of Loudonville, Briar Cronebach of Chillicothe, and one great granddaughter, Lainey Cronebach of Loudonville, that were her world. Two sisters, Carolyn Glenn and Bonnie (Fred) Ropp, all of Ashland County. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Lawrence, brother-in-law Dean Glenn, nephew Scott Glenn, and great nephew Kurtis Krebs.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Lutheran Village, The Good Shepherd and Sunshine Homecare for treating Nancy like family. We will all miss her laugh and her loving smile. Alzheimer’s took her from us way too soon.

Friends may call Saturday 10 to 11 am at Roberts Funeral Home, Ashland Chapel. Services will be held at 11 am the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter in Nancy’s memory by visiting https://www.alz.org/nwohio/donate.
