Nancy A. Rainforth

Nancy Ann Rainforth, 78, of Howard, OH, originally from Stevensville, MT, passed away May 25, 2023 at Knox Community Hospital, in Mount Vernon OH.

Nancy was born April 8^th, 1945 in Sidney, NE to Ralph and Ella Matilda {Nelson} Gerke.

She married Clarence Rainforth on July 2, 1963. 

She was a homemaker, and farmer her whole life.  One day she canned 80 quarts of beans, with her children’s help.  She ran a beauty shop for two years.   She was a Baptist.  She enjoyed gardening and flowers, she was an excellent cook. 

Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband; children Fawna Rainforth, DeAnna Cao; grandchildren Vinh Jr and Jacqueline Cao, and Alina and Bonnie Tang and Tim Rainforth, Annie McIntyre, Thom Rainforth, Devon Lindeman; 4  great-grandchildren; brothers Larry Gerke and  Terry Gerke.

Nancy was preceded in death by 2 sons Terry Rainforth and Thomas Oliver Rainforth and a daughter Sherry Rainforth, sisters Darlene Hildek, Jeanie Printz and Peggy Bailey; a granddaughter Cassandra Easterling and a grandson Luke Rainforth.

Memorial services will be Friday June 2 at 2:00 at Roberts Funeral Home Mt Vernon Chapel with John Shultz officiating.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
