Nancy Szabo

Nancy J. Szabo went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2019 after a 2 and a half year battle with brain cancer.

She is survived by her two daughters Kelly J. Shields of Fort Mitchell, AL and Erin D. Turner of Marietta; two brothers Timothy Szabo of Paisley, FL and Ted R. Szabo of Marietta. Nancy is also survived by numerous friends whom she loves dearly!

Nancy was preceded in death by her father John Szabo in 1981 and her mother Helen Roney Szabo-Sarver in 2019.

She graduated from Marietta Senior High School with the class of 1974 and from Washington County School of Practical Nursing in 1975. Nancy worked as an LPN for 35 years, a job she loved! After retirement she worked at Phillips Hallmark in Marietta.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. Roberts Funeral Home – East Lawn Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online tributes may be made to www.robertsfuneralhome.com
