Nolan Scott Kimble, 62, of Creston, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 3, 2025, after a recent cancer diagnosis.
Nolan was born March 3, 1963, in Lodi, Ohio, to Verne and Marjorie Kimble (Garner). He graduated from Norwayne High School in 1982.
Nolan had worked in the Construction industry for many years, and also in Manufacturing. He enjoyed spending time with his loving wife. They were high school sweethearts and they went everywhere together. He and his buddies often participated in tournament fishing, hunting, playing cards, darting, and reminiscing over breakfast together. He and his dad became the local go-to guys for repairing bicycles and lawnmowers in town. Another hobby he had was scrapping, fixing, painting and re-purposing old treasures that he would find. Nolan was a humble man, with a keen sense of humor, who spent the majority of his time helping others. Yet, he never expected anything in return. He would give you his own coat, if you were in need of one. He was self-taught and knowledgeable in many different skill sets. He was one of a kind, and he had a servant’s heart. Just prior to suffering a severe stroke last year, Nolan had accepted Jesus as his Savior. He would want all of you to do the same, so that you can see him again in Heaven one day! Isaiah 40:31 and Matthew 4:19.
In addition to his wife Pamela, he will be deeply missed by his brothers and their wives, Jim (Susie) Kimble, John (Dot) Kimble, Vance (Kelly) Kimble; brother-in-law, Jeff Cleckner; brother in law and wife, Rick (Denise) Fargo, sisters-in-law and their husbands, Teresa (Jim) Osivnik, Angela (Doug) Bem, several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his toddler brother, David, Grandparents, Sister, Diane, his Mother and Father, Marge and Verne Kimble; and Mother and Father-in-law, Patricia and Richard Fargo.
Cremation services have been provided by Roberts Funeral Home. There will be no funeral services. There will be a private celebration of life at a later date. We are very thankful to God, others, and Roberts Funeral Home for their kindness, support, and encouraging word. God bless all of you in the name of Jesus, Amen.
