Nora Gold

Nora “Leah” Gold, 94, of Wooster, died Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at The Avenue of Wooster.

Leah was born October 6, 1927, in Leesville, Ohio to James and Nora {Sthoer} Decker.

She graduated from Urichsville High School.

She married Russell Gold in November of 1944.

Leah worked at the Apple Creek Development Center in the Dental Clinic. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting as well as crossword puzzles.

Leah will be deeply missed by her daughters Barbara (Jeff Smith) Dunham of Galion, Beverly Brandenburg of Mansfield, Bonnie (Jayme) Yenne of Wooster; grandchildren Thom, Doug (Michaela), Tim (Mary) Brandenburg, Doug (Amy) Dunham, Lora (Dan) Schmitz, Katalyn (Ben) Yenne-Haney, and Nathan Yenne; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister Iris Kerchbaumer.

Leah was preceded in death by her husband, infant daughter Carol, son-in-law Paul Brandenburg and 8 siblings.
