Norma Jane Ramsey, 92, of Newport, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1934 in Newport to Virgil Thrasher and Belle Seiver-Thrasher.
Norma was a member of Newport Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, ceramics and gardening.
She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband Larry E. Ramsey; children Debra Long, Cindy Hamrick, Vicky Dvorak, Elaine Crump and Paul Ramsey; as well as many grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2026 from 1 to 2 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta, OH 45750. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM with Pastor Kent Hall officiating. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.robertsfuneralhome.com
