Patricia "Pat" Gostel

Patricia Ann Gostel, 72, of Westerville, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Parkside Village, in Westerville.

Pat was born April 11, 1948, in Franklin, Tennessee to Thomas and Aliene {Belcher} Hagelgan.

Pat got a Master’s in Education from Tennessee Tech University.

She married Rick Gostel on March 25, 1968.

Pat taught in Westerville City Schools for twenty years. Pat was a devoted member of Central College Presbyterian Church. She loved gardening, racquetball, but always put her family first.

Pat will be deeply missed by her husband Rick; children Krista (J.B.) Howard, and Marcum (Amanda) Gostel; grandchildren Kyler, Kennedy, Sophie, and Lola; brother Bill (Nancy) Hagelgan; and sister Linda (Fred) Reynolds.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents.

Private services for the family will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel with Pastor Nate Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
