Patsy Lou Stalnaker Wamsley

Patsy Roe Stalnaker Wamsley, 87, of Vincent, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, June 4, 2025 surrounded by family.

Patsy was born April 29, 1938 in Marietta, Ohio to George and Jennie Hill Roe.

She graduated from Newport High School with the class of 1956 and went on to graduate from Columbus Business University.

Patsy was employed by Dravo, Marietta Concrete, and retired from Smith Concrete in 2001. She then returned to work with Mayle of Belpre and worked until she was 80 years old. Patsy was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. She most recently attended St. Mark’s UMC in Belpre, Ohio.

Patsy loved to do embroidery work and quilting. She found joy in presenting a newborn infant with a handmade quilt. She lived to attend all events her children and grandchildren were involved in. Patsy enjoyed playing bingo at the Belpre Senior Center with her friends.

Patsy will be deeply missed by her children Lisa (Bill) Wolfe of Marietta, Mark Stalnaker of Vincent and Suzanne (Ryan) Dennis of Little Hocking; grandsons Kristopher (Danielle) Wolfe of Marietta, Kyler (Clare) Dennis, and Seth Dennis of Little Hocking; and great granddaughter Madison Wolfe of Marietta. She also leaves behind multiple nieces, nephews, beloved friends, and her cherished beagle Sweetie.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Paul Wamsley (married in 2000) and her former husband Kinzy Stalnaker (the father of her children); brothers Robert, Paul and Russell “Pete” Roe; infant sister Doris, and sisters Pauline Hasley and Ruth Duncan; and her stepfather Harold “Rusty” McConnell.

Per Patsy’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life ceremony for the family will be held at a later date.

Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
