Paul Donovan “P. Don” Souder, 85, of Kidron, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, at West View Healthy Living in Wooster.
Don was born June 27, 1941, in Sellersville, PA to Paul and Grace {Detweiler} Souder.
He married Sharon Phillips Kamp on June 11, 1977; she survives.
Don was one of the owners of Rutt & Amstutz Feed Mill in Smithville and Orrville. He was a farmer for much of his life; he raised cattle and grew various crops for the cattle. He was proud of his Allis Chalmers Tractors, especially his WD 45 with half tracks. Don was known for his jokes, sarcasm, and witty comebacks. He loved to fish with his friends and was an avid reader of War and History topics. Don enjoyed taking scenic drives, listening to gospel music, and singing in his church choir. He loved all his animals, especially his dog Otis. Don knew everyone, he never met a stranger, and he loved to talk.
Don will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 49 years; children Eric Souder of Wooster, Donette (Steven) Survance of CO, Lisa (Michael) Clayton of IN, step-children Christine (Dean) Karhan of Wooster, Edward (Paula) Kamp of Massillon and David (Chrissy) Kamp of Stow; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Feryl (Connie) Souder of PA; and sister Grace Marie (Steve) Gerber of PA.
