Pegeen Lynn O’Dell Razem, age 63, passed away on December 22, 2025. She proudly attended Glenmont Elementary School in Columbus, North Olmsted High School (‘80), and Tri-C Dental Hygienist College (‘83). Pegeen was the most beloved woman who was adored by everyone she met. She is survived by her father Frank O’Dell, her loving husband and best friend Bob, her “most amazing girls I could ever wish for” Bridget and Colleen, her adored sons-in-law Benji and Marc, her “wild child” grandson Nikolai, and an enormous amount of adoring cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends made family.
She was the most exceptional mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and Grammy. Every room and the whole world was fuller because she was in it. She brought fun, levity, excitement, joy, passion, faith, love, kindness, thoughtfulness, and care to every situation. Everyone who met her could feel how invested she was in their lives, caring about the tiniest detail of every single person’s life. She made everyone feel like they were the only one in the room while she talked to them—making all the people she encountered have the impression that they were special, perfect, and deserving of the love she so readily gave. So many people felt like she was a second mother to them. Not to mention, her incredible love of animals. Never a horse, stray cat, dog, or animal would cross her path that she wouldn’t take in with enormous passion. It is impossible to imagine a state fair, a Browns tailgate, a Playhouse Square play, an OSU game, a St. Patrick’s Day, a holiday, a sunset, a trip to Ohio wine country, a Kentucky Derby, a trivia night, a quiet night admiring her landscape, a second on SnapChat, a Christmas, and so many other moments without her. The world is less full, less loved, and less special because of the loss of Pegeen. A friend, an aunt, a sister, a mother to all. And as for the Browns, with Pegeen in heaven, there’s always next year…
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kelli’s C.R.U.S.A.D.E., an organization Pegeen was passionate about. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 28 at 12:00pm at Grace Church Medina at 8606 N Leroy Rd, Westfield Center, OH 44251.
