Phyllis M. Eckley

Phyllis M. Eckley, 86, of Wooster, passed away Monday, June 8, 2026, at Kingston of Ashland.

Phyllis was born May 9, 1940, in Canton to Albert and Eva {Misere} Goodyear.

She married Howard Eckley on December 26, 1959; he passed in 2002.

Phyllis worked at Samaritan Hospital and Crystal Care in Ashland. She enjoyed playing cards, cooking and spending time with family. Phyllis liked watching her grandson play basketball. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly; family was everything to her.

Phyllis will be deeply missed by her children Loren Eckley, Richard Eckley, and Jean Eckley; grandchildren Chad (Casy) Eckley and Shannon Eckley; great-grandchildren Aurora, Ava, Graham.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, son John Eckley, sister Wanda Cline.
