Pierrette Peters

Pierrette Peters, 81, of Belpre, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 28, 1939 in Verdun, France to Marcell and Marie  Thiriot.

Pierrette married John Peters on July 3, 1958.

She volunteered for the Strecker Cancer Center for the past few years.  She was a member of St. Ambrose Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, baking, visiting wineries, Amish country, dancing, shopping, and going to People’s Theatre.

Pierrette will be deeply missed by her children Suzan (Chris) Shinn and Jon (Rhonda) Peters; grandchildren Bryan (Kaili) Phillips, Amy Phillips-Knapp, JD Peters, Stephanie Peters, Michael (Emily) Yonker, Hope Larrick, Devin Leister; great-grandchildren Elizabeth Phillips, Mya Knapp, Wes Phillips, Braden Knapp, Evan Phillips, Camila Peters, Aubreigh Mizik, Bryan Yonker and Grayson Grattan; sister Janette; brother Pierre; sister-in-law Judy (Harry) Callander.

Pierrette was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John Peters.

Friends may call Tuesday May 5 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Calvert officiating.   Social distancing guidelines to be followed during the services. Inurnment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
