Raymond Thomas Briggs

Raymond Thomas Briggs, 72, of Sullivan, died May 17, 2024.

Raymond was born November 2, 1951 to Raymond and Eileen {Butts} Briggs.

He graduated from Ashland High School. 

He married Saundra Laughery on October 19, 1991. 

Raymond was a Grand Lodge Union Representative of International Machinist and Aerospace workers; He was a member of the Church of Christ. Raymond was a Past President of the Ashland County Democratic Party. In his younger days he loved to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed teaching and spending time with his grandkids and his best friend Quincy.

Raymond will be deeply missed by his wife; grandchildren Nathan (Sara), Nicholas, Zackary (Chelsea); brothers Tim (Lori), John (Jennifer); sister Shirley.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, numerous uncles and aunts and his brother-in-law Ron.

Funeral services will be private with Pastor Tim Briggs officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
