Raymond Harold Stroud

Raymond Harold Stroud, 86, of Wooster, died Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his residence.

Raymond was born August 10, 1936 in Bremen, KY to Luther and Clarice {Humphrey} Stroud.

He served in the US Air Force from 1954 till 1957.

He married Jacqueline Cleland-Potte on June 15, 1957. She survives. 

Raymond worked for Gerstenslagers and then retired from Wil-Burt in 1999. He enjoyed working with wood, gardening, bowling, shooting and farming. He especially loved his dog Lily.

Raymond will be deeply missed by his wife; children Mark (Lisa) Stroud of Cincinnati, Sheridan (Craig) Hull of Ravenna; grandchildren Isaac Stroud, Christopher (Jessica) Hull, Emily (Ryan) Kmetz, Nicholas (Lizzy) Hull; great-grandchildren Arielle, Elisabeth, Cassadee, and Theodore, and a close niece Betty Taylor.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family.  Graveside services will be Friday, April 14th at 2:45 pm at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held.
