Richard "Craig" Daugherty

Richard “CRAIG” Daugherty, 68, of Wooster, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2026.

Craig was born October 6, 1957 in Meyersdale, PA to Dick and Jane {Pratt} Daugherty.

He attended Hempfield Area High School in Greensburg, PA and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Psychology from Potomac State and WVU.

Craig and Irene have been married 21 years.

Craig worked alongside his work wife Marla Edington as a sales rep. for P J Operating dedicating nearly 32 years to Jeff and P J Operating before his retirement in 2022. Upon retirement, he dedicated his days to his favorite passions: football and entertaining family and friends. A proud and loyal Steelers fan, he never missed a game and loved nothing more than gathering everyone together to cook for them and cheer on his team.

He will be deeply missed by his wife; two step sons Michael and Brian ; 6 grandchildren; brother Bradley (Sheila) Daugherty; sister Diane (Frank) Kam

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in law Daniel Kehoe.
