Robert Gregg

Robert Gregg, 80, of Galion, formerly of Ashland, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025, at his residence with his family by his side.

Robert was born July 31,1944 in Berlin to Charles and Lila {Keefer} Gregg. He married Alice Sexton on May 22, 1965. She passed away April 4, 2025.

Robert was tow motor driver for GM for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Robert loved fishing with his father-in-law and his sons.

Robert will be deeply missed by his children Brian (Debra) Gregg, Roger (Debbie Grim) Gregg, David (Diana) Gregg, Jason (Michelle Smith) Gregg; grandchildren Melissa, Eric, Rachel, Gab, Alexis, Devin, Ashley, Bailey, Dylan, and Aubrey; many great-grandchildren; brothers Donald Gregg and Wayne (Sheryl Westervelt); and sister Janice Finley.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Alice.

Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel is assisting with arrangements. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
