Robert "Bob" Taibi

Robert “Bob” Taibi, 85, of Wooster, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 24, after years of a lingering illness, at Ohio’s Hospice, LifeCare of Wooster.

Bob was born April 13, 1941, in Passaic, New Jersey to Frank and Mary (Insinna) Taibi. They then moved to Oakland, New Jersey, where attended Ramapo High School class of 1959, and attended Seaton Hall University.

He married Alice Patricia “Pat” (Terenziani) Taibi, September 4, 1965, after 61 years of marriage she survives.

Bob retired as an executive with Rubbermaid Inc. after 34 years of service. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who deeply valued time with his family. Outside of Rubbermaid Bob is remembered for the many hours coaching Kristin's softball teams, Colin's baseball teams, and women's softball teams. He was a lover of rock hunting, fishing, and hunting in his younger years, as well as gardening, books, music, and travel. His children remember driving to the Badlands as two weeks they will never recapture!

Bob will be deeply missed by his wife, Pat; children, Kristin (Coy Stovall) Stanford of Wisconsin and Colin (Jaime) Taibi of, Ohio; grandchildren, Aria (Beau Morgan), Vincent, and Dominic; and his brother, Douglas (Mary Jo) Taibi of Oregon.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dana Bonezzi, the caring staff of West View Healthy Living, and that of Wooster Home Health staff, as well the caring and kindness of the Ohio Hospice of LifeCare.

Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home Sherwood Chapel, Wooster for a Visitation, there will be no formal service.
