Ruth Crowe

Ruth E. Crowe, 90, of Mansfield, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.

Ruth was born April 22, 1930 in Marion to Albert Ray and Mary G. {Gottfried} Knickle.

She graduated from Marion Harding High School.

Ruth owned and operated a beauty salon in Green Camp, Ohio. Afterwards she worked at a veterinarian clinic in Mansfield. In her earlier years, Ruth enjoyed taking care of her prized miniature schnauzer’s, Missy, Muffy, and Gabby.  She loved playing bridge with her girlfriends, entertaining and cooking, especially hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas for her family every year.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her sister Martha Jane (Bill) Buckingham of Ashland; brother Jerry Knickle of Marion; nephews Mike (Tammy) Buckingham of Ashland and Steve Knickle of Marion; nieces Linda Riddle of Alaska and Connie (Reggie) Palaciuz of Albuquerque, NM; great-nephews Mike (Ananda) Buckingham II of Lexington and Brian Palaciuz of Albuguerque, NM; great-niece Ashley Buckingham of Wooster.

Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter Dora Christine Crowe, sister Emma Riddle, and sister-in-law Babe Knickle.
