Ruth Kovacs

Ruth Ann Kovacs, 66, of Wooster, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Smithville Western Care Center, in Wooster.

Ruth was born November 21, 1953 in Cleveland to Robert and Rosemary {Durnen} Sampsell.

She married Frank Kovacs on June 18, 1993.  He died in 2019.

Ruth enjoyed ceramics, knitting, drawing and painting. She was a good baker and cake decorator.

Survivors include children Anna (Eugene) Greenwood and Rebecca Rister; stepchildren Kathleen Munninghoff, Frank (Laura) Kovacs, Michael (Theresa) Kovacs and Amy Kovacs; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; mother Rosemary; sister Robin (John) Kolar; brothers Robert Sampsell Jr. and Steven (Julie) Sampsell.

Ruth was preceded in death by her father Robert, son Gary Rister II and a brother Bruce Sampsell.
