Ruth Otto

Ruth Eleanor Otto, 95, of Orrville, died Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Summa Health Green Medical Center, in Uniontown.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Services will follow at the funeral home. Ruth was born December 17, 1925, in Orrville to Charles and Anna {McCarthy} LeChot.

She married Albert Otto on May 16, 1953.  He died on December 5, 2009.

Ruth worked for the College of Wooster in the Registrar’s Office. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Orrville. Ruth enjoyed volunteering, doing crafts, gardening, baking, and most of all spending time with family.

Ruth will be deeply missed by her children David (Judith) Otto of Akron, Lynn (David) Viets of Union Bridge, Maryland; grandchildren Heather, Annabelle and Charlie Otto; two great-grandchildren; sister Marjorie (Charles) Squire of Orrville; and nieces Sandy (Doug) Rider and Patti (Doug) Kramer.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years.
