Sarah S Crist

Sarah S. Crist, 89, of Ashland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Brethren Care in Ashland.

Sarah was born April 25, 1933, in Ashland to Leon and Dorothy {Grabill} Fockler.  She graduated from Ashland High School with the class of 1951. Sarah married Eugene Crist on April 12, 1952. He passed on October 27, 1990. She worked as the office secretary for Ashland City Schools. Sarah also worked for Crestview Schools as the cafeteria cashier and night custodian before retiring in 1998. She was a member of Ashland Christian Church where she taught Sunday School, was a prayer warrior, and spiritual encourager. Sarah enjoyed family time. She loved table games, playing cards, and donating blood to the American Red Cross.

Sarah will be deeply missed by her children Sandra (Ron) Kestner, LuAnne (Tim) Calame, Linda White, Janine (Dave) Halloran, Carolyn (Jim) White, and Mishelle (Dan) Garrison; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Wayne (Elizabeth) Crist; sister Brenda Courson; several nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons-in-law G. Russell Lindsay and Larry J. White, brothers-in-law Richard (Shirley) Crist and William Courson, and a nephew.
