Shirley June Hartline

Shirley June Hartline, of Belpre, passed away peacefully in her home with family and friends on July 29,2026. She was born on September 10,1935 to Fred & Edna McCain. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1953. Shirley married the love of her life Jimmy Hartline in 1953 and was a devoted wife for 70 years. She was also a loving mother to her son Stewart Hartline for 47 years until his death in 2008. She loved her precious grandson, her family, and her many nieces and nephews. She was employed by Dravo Corporation & Irene's Dress Shop in Marietta, Ohio and Sandy's Florist Shop in Belpre.

She was a faithful member of the Fairlawn Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and served in other capacities for many years. She had done volunteer work in a nursing home for a number of years where she received the volunteer of the year award.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy R Hartline, Grandson Matthew Hartline, & many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick & Edna McCain, Son, Stewart Hartline and 4 brothers Donald, Alfred, Fred Jr and Frank McCain and 2 sisters Kathleen Ritter and Velma Crudele.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 2 PM at Roberts Funeral Home, 27880 State Route 7, Marietta, OH 45750. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the service.
