Shirley Teofilo

Shirley Juanita Teofilo, 93, of Ashland, passed Friday, October 15, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Shirley was born February 2, 1928, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Harold and Shirley {Goolsby} Shorts.
She graduated from Ashland High School in 1946. She married Pete Teofilo in 1963. He passed in January of 1992.

Shirley worked for Westing House until she retired in 1988. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church.

Shirley enjoyed making jewelry and crafting. She also loved to travel all over the world with her husband and bringing back gifts to her grandchildren.

Shirley will be deeply missed by her daughter Pam Tresh of Ashland; grandchildren Matthew (Doreen) Barcus of Virginia Beach, Sallie (Jason) Miller of Kokoma IN, Adele (Chris) Hosler of Ashland, Kathy (Chris) Patton of Enterprise AL, and John Hess of Mary Ester, FL; 10 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, son Paul, and brothers Harold Jr, and Eugene.

Friends may call Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel, Ashland. Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
