Steven P. Cholley

Steven P. Cholley, 76, of Wooster, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, at home surrounded by family.

Steve was born June 1, 1950, in Wooster to Joseph Cholley and Phyllis {Greegor} Cholley Collins.

He married Tina Clason on January 16, 1978; she survives.

Steve managed Cholley Construction with his father before working as a welder for over 30 years at Wilbert and Volvo. He also owned Cholley Welding Services. Steve was a hard worker, he enjoyed fishing, vacationing on the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

Steve will be deeply missed by his wife; children Kyle (Carrie) Cholley, Jennifer (Shawn) Moore, and Heather Cholley; grandchildren Trent and Brooke Cholley, Cearria and Syvannah Moore, and Noah Giauque.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Harold Collins, and brothers Jay and Stan Cholley.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 14 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
