Susan Casey

Susan Casey, 72, went home to be with her Lord on December 27, 2025. A woman of unwavering faith, Susan’s life was a testament to her love for God and her boundless devotion to those around her.

Born on May 24, 1953, Susan was the daughter of the late James and Ethel Smith. She was a proud graduate of Orrville High School and later retired from International Paper in Wooster after years of dedicated service.

Susan found her greatest joy in her faith and her family. She was happiest when cooking for those she loved or enjoying a day of shopping. Susan was known for her incredibly generous heart, finding her greatest fulfillment in spoiling everyone she knew, from her husband and children to her grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends. Her kindness left a mark on everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving husband Danny Casey; children William, Kristen, and Amy, along with their spouses; cherished grandchildren Hunter, Ethan, Tim Jr., Blaze, Meara, and Bentley. She also leaves behind three brothers, two brothers-in-law, a host of loving nieces and nephews, and many dear friends who will miss her companionship and generous spirit.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Smith; several brothers and sisters; and her stepson Tim Casey.

Celebration of life services will be held at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
