Thelma Gertrude Grabill

Thelma Gertrude Grabill, 99, of Shreve, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Wayne County Care Center surrounded by family.

Thelma was born September 15, 1927, in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Paul and Margaret {Huebscher} Westley.

She married Roy Grabill on March 11, 1950; he passed in 2015.

She was an expert seamstress; she worked at the William Annat Company in Wooster for five years making custom draperies. Thelma liked to cook, she sewed, did needle work, crocheted and knitted. She enjoyed her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Thelma will be deeply missed by her children Diane (Barry) Walkenshaw, David Grabill, Dale (Tonya) Grabill, and Dawn Grabill; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 22 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Thelma-Grabill) with Chaplain Daron Butler officiating.
