Thomas Edgar Noyes

Thomas Edgar Noyes, 82, of Wooster, passed away April 6, 2026.

Thomas was born November 11, 1943 in Providence, RI to Edgar Stewart Noyes and Dorothy {Cruthers} Noyes.

Thomas received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Rhode Island and then received his Masters in Animal Sciences Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

He married Rosalie Wilder on May 1, 1964.

Thomas retired from Ohio State University Extension as the Wayne County extension dairy educator after more than 30 years. Thomas and Rosalie along with their daughter Cheryl and her husband owns Cantendo Acres - Grazeland Jerseys of Creston. He enjoyed spending time at the farm, spending a portion of his winters in Florida, attending his grandchildren's sporting events and visiting family in Rhode Island. Thomas loved to golf and he was a member and past president of the Wooster Madisonburg Lions Club.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his wife Rosalie; children Cheryl (Russel) King, Thomas II (Diane) Noyes, and Donna (Leonard III) Heim; grandchildren Brandon (Laura) King, Leeann King, Catie (Devon) Johnson, Kyle (Missy) Noyes, Abigail (Spencer) English, Amanda Heim, and Leonard Heim IV; and great-grandchildren Tristan and Liam King, Sawyer Johnson, Harrison English, Brodie Noyes, Rhett Noyes, and Case Noyes.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Donald Noyes.

Friends may call on Sunday, April 12 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., and on Monday, April 13 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4:00 p.m., at Roberts Funeral Home–Sherwood Chapel, Wooster (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Thomas-Noyes).
