Tina Braun

Tina Marie Braun, of Nova, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland after a courageous and vigilant fight.

Tina was born in Buffalo, NY to Norman and Virginia {Jewtraw} Braun.

She worked at DW Enterprises for Bendon Publishing warehouse in Ashland and then for Carlisle Brake and Friction in Medina.

Tina loved her horses, cats, dogs and all other animals. She has always been an inspiration and beacon of Joy to all who witness her. She always provided steady confidence and level minded advice to all friends and family when asked or needed, saying always what she believed. In life, her true companion horse was Fallon, and her true companion pup was Daisy Mae. Her retired Belgium draft which she purchased two years ago, Pam, revitalized her passion into horses and was a source of great happiness. Tina and family gave thousands of pony rides for several years, providing joy to many area children through their company, DustyRose. She has also been creating YouTube videos for the last 10 years, under @TinaDustyRose, @DustyRoseRA, and @LittleLucyandFriends8256. Tina was very near completion of writing a book about the Civil War, which will be published in the future.

Tina will be deeply missed by her Soulmate, Bestfriend and Husband in God's eyes Anthony Callahan of Nova; Bestfriend and Confidant Mari Montgomery; Children Marie Pelot of Cuyahoga Falls, Daniel Stankiewicz of Nova, and Sarah Stankiewicz of Medina; Grandchildren Ashley Pelot, Jackie Rosian, Gwendolynn Rosian, Zackory Hrivnak, Joseph Stankiewicz, Kodama Curry, Hudson Bauer, Colin Stankiewicz, James Hayes, and Jesse Holloway Jr; Brother Wayne Braun and Sister-in-Law Janice Braun of Strongsville; Niece Melissa Braun of Strongsville; and Tina and Anthony's furry child Princess Angel Lucy of Nova.

Tina was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Tina-Braun).
