Valerie Ann Barner

Valerie Ann Barner, 62, of Wooster, passed away September 21, 2026.

Valerie was born October 12, 1963 in Wooster to Bernard and Sandra {Knepper} Pohalski.

She married Bennie Barner on October 6, 1984.

Valerie worked for Milltown Family Physicians and the Cleveland Clinic for many years. She attended Wooster Bible Church. Valerie loved watching the Food Network, watching crime documentaries, and word searches. She loved to go out to eat, and going to the movies with her family. Valerie loved spending time with her Children and Grandchildren.

Valerie will be deeply missed by her husband Bennie; children Zach (Alexandra) Barner, and Corey (Sara) Barner; grandchildren Kylie, Lillian, Abby, Emma, and a baby girl on the way; father Bernard Pohalski; brothers Bernie (Buzz) Pohalski; and sisters Stephanie Lynn Stiffler, and Jean Marie (Peter) Baxter.

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother Sandra Pohalski, brother-in-law Ken Stiffler.

Friends may call Friday September 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.
