Vickie Sue Waldron, 68, of Wooster, died October 31, 2021, at Wooster Community Hospital.

Private burial will be with Roger Sr., at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Vickie was born October 12, 1953, in Ashland, Ohio to Carl and Margaret {Taylor} VanMeter.

She graduated from Mapleton High School in 1971.

She married Roger “Todd” Waldron on January 6, 1974. He died August 30, 2016.

Vickie worked at Smithville Western Care Center, then worked as a home nurse. She was a member of Rowsburg Nazarene Church until it closed. Vickie loved to collect dolls.  Her biggest love was being with friends and family.

Vickie will be deeply missed by her children Tracy (Jim) Yergin of Ashland, and Roger Dale Jr. of Wooster; granddaughter Abby; sisters Tena Owens, Deborah Schwartz, and Nellie Vanetta all of Ashland; best friend Ruby; and many nieces, nephews, and Facebook friends.

In addition to her husband, Vickie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Carl Jr. VanMeter, and Mark VanMeter; brothers-in-law Robert Howard, and Joe (Wendy) Waldron.
