Violet M. Davis

Violet Marie Davis 85, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster. Friends may call Wednesday from 11 to 12 at Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Eric Fairhurst officiating. Burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Violet’s passion was cooking, she hated it with a passion. But she had a heart of gold and if you were sick, she would cook you a meal then probably clean your house and do your laundry while she was there. She was also known for sending greeting cards like it was her job. Violet was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lee and her sister Betty Figura. She is survived by her daughter Chris (Mike) Barnes. Grandchildren Kyle Barnes of Wooster, Kori Barnes of High Point NC, Kasey Barnes of Wooster and Kameron (Kacy Napolitan) Barnes also from Wooster. Great Granddaughter Kiersten May Barnes. A sister Suddie (Russel) Lengacher of Wooster and sister Pauline Gaugler of Akron. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Avenue and her special nurse LaQuinta, for years of care to Violet and Billy. Also special thanks to LifeCare Hospice of Wooster.
