Wanda Rea Moorehead

Wanda Rea Moorehead, 100, of Marietta, passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Wanda was born July 11, 1926 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Joseph B. and Daisey Lee Conley.

She was a 1944 graduate of Marietta High School where she was a majorette.

She married Glen Moorehead on June 3, 1944. They were married for 78 years and enjoyed many adventures, including riding motorcycles and boating.

Wanda was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed all kinds of crafting, including crocheting and painting. Wanda had a love for her animals. Grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren brought her great joy.

Wanda will be deeply missed her children Glen “Bill” (Fran) Moorehead Jr., Lana (Bill) Glover, Danny Moorehead and Debbie (Mike) Woody; 12 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Glen; brothers Elmer and Larry Conley; daughter-in-law Nancy Moorehead.

The family would like to thank Dr. Cawley and her staff for their care and support.

Friends may call Friday, September 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-East Lawn Chapel, 27880 St. Rt. 7, Marietta. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park.
