William Lee Miller, 92, of Wooster, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 1, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.

Bill was born on December 24, 1933, in Millersburg, Ohio to Andrew and Lovina Miller.

Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force.

He married Patsy Shields on June 22, 1957; she passed in 2019.

Bill retired from Rubbermaid in Wooster after almost 40 years. He was an avid trapshooter and fisherman and spent many summers in Canada camping with his family. Bill was known for years as the “lawn mower man”, he repaired lawn mowers as a hobby. For much of his life, he donated blood and encouraged others to do so as well. Bill had some unique words of wisdom; he never missed a chance to help the people he cared about. He cherished his family more than anything.

Bill will be deeply missed by his daughter Mary Miller; grandchildren Jenny (Rodolfo) Velazquez; great-grandchildren Mariani and Romario Velazquez; sister Mary Karshner of Florida; and many nieces and nephews and close friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son Thomas Miller, brothers Thomas, Robert, Butch, Freddy; and sister Ruth.

Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice in Wooster and the Smithville Volunteer Fire Department.
