Woodrow R. Myers

Woodrow “Woody” Roy Myers Jr., 77, of Ashland, died May 26, 2024 at UH Hospital Sumaritan.

Woody was born September 28, 1946 in West Virginia to Woodrow and  Havana {Dunlap} Myers.

He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, he then joined the US Air Force.

He married Kathleen Montgomery on April 15, 1967. She survives.  

He worked in maintenance for the State of Ohio. Woody attended Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars.

Woody will be deeply missed by his wife; children Glenn Myers of Ashland, Kimberly Myers of Ashland, Adam (Christina) Myers of Wooster; grandchildren Carissa “Abby” and Joshua; and sisters Zelda (Mike) White, and Sharon Barrick.

Woody was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Myers and sister Jean Jones.
