Zola Jane Simpson

Zola J Simpson, 98, of Wadsworth, passed away June 15, 2026.

Zola was born June 21, 1927 in Cambridge, Ohio to Clyde and Amanda {Kail} Combs.

She married Forrest Simpson on September 22, 1945.

Zola attended Wadsworth and Doylestown Nazarene Churches. She was part of a sewing club and enjoyed embroidery, baking, and chatting with friends.

Zola will be deeply missed by her children Ralph (Jackie) Simpson of Fairfield, Jay Simpson of Daneville, IN, Cheryl (Tom) Stoner of Wadsworth; grandchildren Amie Simpson, Lori (Scott) Clark, Steven (Julie) Simpson, Eric (Lauren) Simpson, Lisa (James) Bosworth, Alaina (Christopher) Schleich, Matthew (Katherine) Simpson, Rachael (Bryant) Stoner, and Amanda (Matthew) Erickson; great-grandchildren Zachary, Sarah, Karley, Sean, Joey, Charlie, Elsie, Cassidy, Kayla, Alexis (Jacob), Ethan, Tristan, Lindsey, Gavin, Lillien, Elliana, David, Martin, Azalea, and Chloe; and great-great-grandchildren Skyler and Colton.

Zola was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Simpson, son David Simpson, sister Ruth Marquart, and brother Geroge Combs.

Friends may call Saturday June 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home (and livestreamed at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com/obituaries/Zola-Simpson) with Pastor Scott Clark officiating.
