Clarice Ellsperman

Clarice L. Ellsperman, 86, of Edmond, Oklahoma, formerly of Wooster, died Monday, May 11, 2020 at OU Medical Center, in Oklahoma City.

A memorial service will be held Saturday August 1 at 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Stephen Moran officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Clarice was born August 13, 1933 in Plain Township, Ohio to Ernest and Matilda {Tschantz} Woods.

She graduated from Shreve High School in 1952.

She married John R. Ellsperman on November 24, 1955. He died August 18, 2010.

Clarice retired from the Wooster Brush Company. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was involved in the Catholic Daughters as well as the Gnat Boxers Dancing Club.

Clarice will be deeply missed by her children Terri (Mike) Reutter of Lakeville, Mary Lynn (Donnie) Thomas of Edmond, OK, Mark (Helen) Ellsperman of Sand Springs, OK and Kevin Ellsperman of Topeka, KS; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Ernest and Gerald Woods of Wooster; sisters Karen (Bill) McKee of Shreve and Shirley (Dan) Michalak of Tiffin.

Clarice was preceded in death by her husband, parents Ernest and Matilda Woods, sister Frances Zimmerman and brother Homer Woods.
