Diane E. Whitacre, 85, of Lodi, died December 11, 2014 at her residence.
Friends may call Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Funeral services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Dake officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
Diane was born August 22, 1929 in Sherman, Ohio to Frank and Grace {Marvin} James.
She married Raymond Whitacre.
She worked for Max Food Locker in Lodi. She then worked for Huron Welfare Department and later Mansfield's Welfare Department. Diane was a member of First Congregational Church in Lodi where she played piano and was a bookkeeper. She enjoyed painting and reading.
Diane will be deeply missed by her sons Jeff Correll of Indiana and John (Abbie) Correll of Lodi; grandchildren Candice, Jeffy, Ronda, Stephanie, Crystal, and Stephen; 15 great-grandchildren
Diane was preceded in death by her husband Raymond and brother Harvey.
