Elaine Matheny

Elaine Matheny, 88, of Wadsworth, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at her residence.

Elaine was born March 3, 1933 in Elkins, WV to Robert and Olive {Moran} McCool.

She married Richard J. Matheny on March 27, 1951.  Richard passed in 1999.

She worked at Ohio Match Company, Admiral Machine, and retired in 1997 from Cornwell Tool Company. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Elaine will be deeply missed by her children Jim (Venicia), Darold (Diane), Dave (Wendy) Matheny, Karen (Mike) Spinelli; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Richard, daughter Charlotte Shaffer, and a sister Margaret Messer and a grandson Tristan.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville.  Services will be Monday at 11am at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Hillcrest memorial Gardens, Seville.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
