Joan Clark

Joan Clark, 84, of Wooster, died Thursday, September 19, 2019 at The Avenue, in Wooster.

Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster.  Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.   Memorial contributions may be made to Cleveland Clinic – Tinnitus Center at P.O. Joan was born March 3, 1935 in Shreve to James and Gertude {Geib} Moreland.

She married Windel C. Clark on September 24, 1968.  He passed on June 18, 2010.

Joan retired from the Wayne County Human Society and also worked at Apple Creek Developmental Center.  She enjoyed reading, hiking, biking, and loved cats.

Joan will be deeply missed by her brothers Robert Moreland, Dennis (Carole) Stewart, and Tim (Brenda) Anderson and sisters Lois Moreland, Carol Mercer, Betty DeMonaco, Rita (Gary) Jensen, Beverly Brink (Allen Ward), Bonnie (Dave) Ackerman, and Margaret Moreland; nephew Scott (Karen) Moreland of Wooster.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, brother Norman Moreland, sisters Phyllis Weaver and Barbara Moreland.
