Melinda Barden

Melinda F. Barden, 59, of Ashland, entered heaven Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Melinda was born September 8, 1960 in Newport, Rhode Island to John and Frances {Priest} Caudill.

She married James Barden Sr. on October 14, 1983.

Melinda was a great artist.  She attended online church services almost every day.  Melinda enjoyed making “Reborn Baby Dolls” and crocheting.

Melinda will be deeply missed by her husband of 36 years; children Robert E Beam III of Elyria, Cristin N. Beam and James F. Barden Jr. both of Ashland, Jessica L. (Carl) Daniels of Loudonville; grandchildren Feliciana, Damian, Lucius, Hailey, Araiya, Spencer. Cheyanne, Brennan, John, Neicy, Lillian, Sawyer, Ellen, and Axel; great-grandchildren Royal; sisters Tina (Keith) Miller, Pennie Tremaine, and Joyce Caudill.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel.  Private services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor George Swain.  Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.   Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
