Nancy Hammond

Nancy Ann Hammond, 65, of Ashland, died Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Arbor at Mifflin, in Mansfield.

Nancy was born April 14, 1955 in Cleveland to John and Dorothy {Socha} Bodnar.

She married Dennis Charles Hammond on July 3, 1977.  He died on August 13, 2015.

Nancy worked at Bob Evan’s in Ashland.  She loved playing bingo, sudoku, and shopping for her nieces and nephews.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her brothers Kenneth (Judy) Bodnar of North Royalton and Joseph (Jennifer) Bodnar of Ashland; nieces Jessica Bodnar, Jennifer Henderson, Shawna Kane, and Jazzmin Bodnar; nephew Joseph Bodnar, Josh Bodnar, Michael Bodnar, and James Bodnar; many other nieces and nephews; best friend of 62 years, Eileen (Cal) Wornley.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, son John Christopher Charles Hammond, and sister Barbara Henderson.
