Nettie Wengerd

Nettie J. Wengerd, 84, of Wooster, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at her residence.

Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family.  Private family services will be held at the funeral home with Pastor Daron Butler officiating. Nettie was born April 28, 1936 in Holmes County, Ohio to Jonas E. and Elizabeth L. {Swartzentruber} Miller.

She married Omar Wengerd on November 3, 1954. He survives.

Nettie owned Nettie’s Poodle Parlor and worked for Baaron INC. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Nettie will be deeply missed by her husband; children Dale (David) Deschner of Perrysville, Daryl (Terry) Perrine of Wooster; grandchildren Benjamin, T.A., Cydni, Jordan; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers Owen, Monroe; sisters Edna, Martha.

Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Andrew, Jonas Jr., and sisters Mary, Ella.
