Richard Fiscus

Richard F. Fiscus, 83, of Wooster, went to be with the lord Saturday, August 4, 2012 at West View Manor, in Wooster.
Private services will be held at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, in Wooster. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. Richard was born October 16, 1928 in Orrville to Fred and Ruth Fiscus. He spent most of his life in Orrville. He lived eight years in Dalton and graduated from Dalton High School in 1946.
Richard was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, serving three Years in Alaska. He gave 23 years of service with the Cairnie Family at the Orrville Bronze and Aluminum Foundry handling accounting and administrative duties. The next 20 years were spent with the J. Horst Mfg Company in Dalton fulfilling purchasing and quoting duties, retiring in 1996. He was a fift (50 year member of the Masonic Lodge Cedar #430). Richard was a past member of the Orrville Exchange Club and served as secretary of the Riceland Gold League for 14 years. He was a high school basketball official for 17 years, retiring in 1976, and was later elected to the Wayne Count Officials Hall of Fame. Richard was a member of The Chapel in Akron Ohio for many years and served as a greeter and volunteer worker in the finance office. After relocating to Wooster he regularly attended Wooster Grace Brethren.
Surviving are his wife Marcella "Marcy" whom he married August 4, 1951 in Massillon by Rev. Otto Gerber, Children; Prudy (Mike, deceased) Pasquariello, of Wooster and Todd (Rita) Fiscus of Wooster, grandchildren; Brian Pasquariello of Wooster, Brett Pasquariello of Ft. Walton FL, Catherine (Joel) Mutchler of Canal Fulton, and Angela and Megan Fiscus of Wooster, Great grandchildren; Bryce, Brie and Brena Pasquariello of Wooster and Aydan Fiscus of Wooster.
