Ronald Haught

Ronald Creed Haught, 86, of Sterling, died June 5, 2021 at Summa Akron City Hospital.

Ronald was born July 11, 1934 in Monroe County, Ohio to Donald and Elsie {Griffin} Haught.

He graduated from Graysville High School in 1952. Ronald joined the US Army in 1953.

He married Wanda Roberts on May 26, 1967. She survives.

He worked for Bearfoot Sole in Wadsworth, then he worked at various other jobs before retiring in 1999. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Sterling. Ronald enjoyed woodworking and tinkering around.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his wife; daughters Rebecca (Fred) Pratt of Wooster, Tammy (Jason) Steiner of Wooster, and Kristina (Dennis) Hartzler of Rittman; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers Bruce (Jamie) and Dwight Haught; sisters Phillis Colvin and Kay (Carl) Tomassetti.

Ronald was preceded in death by his siblings Leland, John Lee, Vivian, and Willene.

Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville is handling the arrangements.  Funeral services will be held at a later date.
