Varlie "Fred" Waggaman

Varlie “Fred” Waggaman Sr., 70, of Wooster, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Wooster Community Hospital, after declining health.

Entombment will be held at a later date at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.   Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.

Fred was born October 19, 1949 in Lodi to Fred Bernard and Esther Eva {Norris} Waggaman.

He married Virginia Mae Barr on January 13, 2007.  She survives.

Fred worked at Diebold Co. and then owned and retired from Fred’s Auto Repair. He was a mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, camping, and hunting.  Fred was known to give people a hard time.

Fred will be deeply missed by children Teresa (Don) Troxell of Creston, Freddie (Jody) Waggaman and Penny (Bill) Harvey both of Orrville, Junior (Casey) Waggaman of Cincinnati, and Allen Castle of Kentucky; grandchildren Riley and Logan Troxell, Tommy Waggaman, Michael, Derrik and Sabrina Harvey, Kenzie and Zander Waggaman, and Marcus, Kirsten and Craig Castle; eight great-grandchildren; brother Mark (Renee) Waggaman of Rittman; sisters Cheryl (Larry) Brannock of Canton and Linda Waggaman of Lodi.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Rick, Rocco and Virg Waggaman.
