Victor Drouhard

January 30, 1962 — September 17, 2020

Victor Lee Drouhard, 58, passed away unexpectedly the night of September 17, 2020 in his home. He was the youngest child born January 30th, 1962, to Frank and Donna Drouhard.

His loss will be mourned, and his life celebrated privately by his family and friends.

Victor was a proud father, grandfather, and brother. He especially loved the beach, boating, fishing, and the calm of the water. He loved working on cars, dirt track races, and jigsaw puzzles. His daughters will fondly recall weekend nights at Wayne County Speedway, embarrassing home movies, camping trips to Mohican, and what seemed to be endless supplies of Smith’s Chip Dip, Coccia House pizza, and Michael’s Bakery Cream Sticks. He was always quick to offer help in whatever way he could, especially for his kids.

Victor, like many others, suffered from depression, chronic pain, a degenerative illness, as well as the loss of both of his parents. His life had transformed into one of endless doctor visits, unresolved physical and emotional pain, and grief instead of the joy and maverick lifestyle he had once known. He spent much of his time fighting in attempt to overcome his physical pain and limitations. Unfortunately, the weight of this life and failure of his body grew to be more than he could continue to bear.

Victor is survived by his daughters, Adia Clark, Jessica (Josh) Blake, and Cortney Drouhard; his grandchildren Tracy and Davis Clark, and Saylor, Hudson, and Anders Blake; his siblings, Steve Balas, Steph (Dan) McComas, Mike (Dawna) Balas, Mindy Balas, Vicki (Galen) Musselman, and Roger Drouhard, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Donna Drouhard.
