Helyn E. Sayers, of Ashland, died Friday, October 29, 2010, at Hospice House in Ashland. She was born in Uniontown, PAto John and Anna Hucik, who immigrated from Czechoslovakia. Helyn married Clyde Sayers on February 24, 1948.
She worked as an office employee at Home Hardware, retiring after 25 years. She was a member of St. Edward’s Church.Helyn loved her family.
Helyn will be deeply missed by her husband, children; Nevanka (Charles) Fulkof Ashland and Richard (Lori) Sayers of Green,grandchildren; Donovan Kelley of Ashland, Melissa (Scott) Hodges of San Diego, CA, Matthew Sayers of Toledo and Melanie Sayers of Columbus, a great-grandchild; Summer Harmoney Osborne and a sister; Irene Paull of Uniontown, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister.
Friends may call Monday from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Monday November 1, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home – Ashland Chapel, with Father Rod Kreidler officiating. Interment will be at Ashland County Memorial Park.
