Mary Zakutni, 83, of West Salem, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at The Good Shepherd Home in Ashland.
She was born October 24, 1923, in Cleveland, the daughter of John and Mary Kasper who preceded her in death.
She married Edward Zakutni on April 27, 1950. ?He preceded her in death on August 15, 2003. ?Mary was a homemaker.
Mary will be deeply missed by her son Robert (Ruth) Zakutni of Perrysville, daughter Laura Zakutni of California, grandchildren Joshua K. Zakutni of Kent, step-grandchildren Derrick (Chris) Aten of Mansfield, Stephanie Aten of Maine, Michael Aten of Perrysville, two step-great-grandchildren, and sister Ann Dearden of Michigan
Along with her husband and parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother Mike Kasper.
Graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3, at Ashland County Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Julie Thoms officiating. ?Burial will follow the service. ?Funeral arrangements are being handled by Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel.
